Mindfulness For Legal Professionals

Mindfulness practices include meditations and visualization on compassion and loving-kindness.  Also included are compassionate deeds and words -- ransom acts of kindness.  In Jurisight, we call these “charitable contributions” because they are generous acts directed toward others.


Just as a charitable contribution often has a tax benefit to the giver, so too we are learning do acts and thoughts of kindness to others. 


Psychological research is finding that when a person is generous toward others, they feel happier themselves.


Neuroscience research is finding that as a person engages in compassionate meditation, their brain activity shifts and they feel a greater sense of well-being.
